Tom and Jerry have been fighting like
cats and dogs 1940. Tom & Jerry was created in 1940 by William Hanna
and Joseph Barbara.The cartoon managed to win seven academy awards
during its run, making it one of the most successful cartoons in
television history. In 1963, The original cartoons such as the very
first one: "The Puss Gets The Boot" featured a poorly drawn version of
Tom and Jerry. Tom was portrayed to be an unintelligent house cat while
Jerry was the brown mouse with a pea brain. He is most famous for his
music for Tom and Jerry''. Started with Walt Disney in 1929 and moved to
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1938 cartoon unit. om and Jerry cartoons were
produced in the standard Academy ratio and format; from 1953 to 1956
some of the output was dually produced in both Academy format and the
widescreen CinemaScope process.
